My fibro pain is getting considerably worse and am worried I am getting more ill. (Multiple other auto immune diseases run in my family!)
I was wondering who to go to, GPs as good as they are, can’t do much.
Rhuematologist?
Neurologist?
Physiotherapist?
I live in the UK so if anyone has gone through the same would be great!
Having a horrible time with it!

It doesn't not surprise me when people some times disbelieve that your in pain it's not something you see out right but those who feels it knows.

But what upsets me is when you are diagnosed by a specialist that you have frybromyalgia or other painful conditions is when your own GP ignores the diagnosis and carry on treating you like a hypochondriac and your symptoms are imaginary.

Frybromyalgia is not imaginary it's real and we should all fight for the public and GPS to recognise this more awareness.

I would say rheumatologist sweetie, I live near Bath & there is a great rheumatology hospital, & the care includes specific physio for fibro, the hospital was awarded the best in UK for their Fibro support, I'm currently doing hydrotherapy there once a week,
If any of your drs need help ask them to contact The Royal Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases Bath for advice, hope this helps you sweetie xx 💜 xx

Get gp to refer you to a rheumatologist, then see if you can get a specialist physiotherapist, mine got me in touch with the surgical team at kings college hospital in London and I’m awaiting there decision on weather to operate on me or not x
