My right hip is much worse than my left. Do any of you have Bursitis in the hip? Do you think it is related to your Fibromyalgia? What do you do to relieve the pain?
I will be starting P/T soon. Hoping to get some relief from that. Appreciate any information someone may have.
Had it. Steroid shot, ice it 2x day. Don’t lay on it when you sleep. It will go away, but it takes a few months unfortunately 🤗🤗🤗
I do. I had an injection and P/T. I don’t personally think it is from fibromyalgia. I have friend who have bursitis and don’t have Fibromyalgia. However having fibromyalgia certainly doesn’t help the situation.
The injection got rid of my pain... I was able to move and sleep on my side afterwards. MD`s do limit the number of injections. Talk to him and see if it's right for you. I had mine misdiagnosed as back pain then had physical therapy on my hip and couldn't walk for 3 days afterwards. I am a big fan of physical therapy and go twice a week myself for muscle spasms in my right quad though, just undereducated MD made initial misdiagnosis.
Good to know, mine just started in same hip!! I do try to sleep on the other one or my back. End up flipping a lot throughout the night!!
Yes, I had it. My rheumatologist gave me cortisone shot on my hip. The pain finally went away.
