Members shared mixed experiences with infrared light therapy for pain relief, with some noting they had not tried it specifically but found traditional heating pads and heat packs helpful for muscle aches and spasms. Several members mentioned warnings about infrared use with recent back injuries, and one member who tried it at a spa center felt it resembled sitting in front of a space heater and preferred traditional saunas, while another found acupuncture more effective decades ago. A recurring theme was curiosity about whether infrared therapy might help since moist heat, hot tubs, and jacuzzis already provide relief for many in the community.

I’ve also wondered if this would help. I have some relief from moist heating pads and hot tubs so it seems it might. Please let us know if you try it.

I have tried finding out about the warning on the door and can't find anything sorry. Just that center parcs do use infrared rooms. Maybe ask when you go for the treatment.
The short time I did go in I was not that impressed it felt like sitting in front of an old fashioned space heater. Think I preferred a normal sauna. Maybe if I had stayed in longer.

Decades ago infrared hest therapy was big and I tried it. It helped a bit, but accupuncture was better.
