I think I’m going through a flare because every symptom I ever felt is hitting me all at once. But lately by arms have been bothering me. It hurts, tingling sensation, and I feel like I worked out my arms so bad that they are shaky when I try to lift anything. The pain alternates arms and my right knee hurts too. It feels like I step wrong and causes a sharp, short pain. It’s tender to touch around it. Had a X-ray done showed nothing. Also when I tip toe my legs are so sore as well. Please tell… read more

Unfortunately, I too believe all your symptoms are just from your fibro! It is so hard to believe that one illness can have so many symptoms and we always start second guessing everything which puts us in a state of panic which then sends our pain to unmanageable heights!! I wish they would find an answer for you that could be treatable but I highly doubt it! Again unfortunately, I’m positive it’s your fibro!

Hi thank you! I have been seeing a rheumatologist for almost two years now and they test me every 4 months for all the basic autoimmune issues: lupus, Sjögrens, everything. Recently tested for BPV and Lyme both negative. I was ANA positive a couple of times, but have been ANA negative for a year now. I am supposed to have a MRI soon to rule out MS. Just waiting on the insurance and appointment. Thank you!

The test for MS is a MRI,,if you have scars on the brain, they can see it on the MRI,if you are very worried about it being MS..take a MRI and then you will know yes or no.A neurologist can order the test..or a Rheumatologist..Four times I had my whole left side ( head face arms chest legs feet..) the whole left side feel like pins and needles..felt like I was walking on glass..very painful.then after that settled down it was very painful as it was subsiding..I had a EMG ( nerve testing) they could not find the problem,I had been diagnosed with Fibro, then years later I saw a new Neurologist, and had the MRI done to test for MS.I had no scaring on the brain, but he said, sometimes there may be no scaring on the brain,it can attack other parts of the body, so he diagnosed me with MS,SO who knows but there are a lot of simular sypmtoms of MS Fibro Lupus,,just keep taking test to eliminate..

I'm on Cymbalta 30 for a week then 60 mg from then on. I do not want to increase.
Vitamin D 10,000 IU's for spring/summer. Then 10,000 IU's on Sunday & Thursday so 20,000 IU's for fall/winter as there is less sunshine. 250 mg magnesium.
I take Cymbalta, Tizanidine, Vitamin D, magnesium & muscle relaxant at night before I sleep. Magnesium is also a sleep booster so I sleep thru the night. 😊😊😊
