I’ve applied for PIP and I’m really anxious about whether I will get it or not.
I am dreading the face to face interview.
What has your experience been like with the whole PIP process? Has anyone got any advice for me?

@A MyFibroTeam Member I just wrote a long piece on someone’s page that is from Alberta! If you have friends on here from Alberta, check their story page cause it’s on there. It should help a lot. Sorry but just can’t do the whole thing again today!
I live in Alberta,Canada trying to seek out a way to supplement my income, my Dr feels it would be best if I didn’t work due to the severity of my fybro
I was dreading mine, but the lady who came to my house was really nice. She just went over the questions you filled in on the form.. I guess looking for any inconsistencies. I was just honest.
She came round at 9am!!!!
I was awarded a basic amount, & it is really helpful for affording alternative treatments & takes the pressure off me having to work full time.
Just be honest & truthful about how this crazy condition affects you... & give some worst day scenarios
Hi hun did you take photo copies of your answers on the app form so you remember what you wrote. They will ask can you get yourself dressed by yourself ( NO) can you cook without help (NO) if they ask explain say can't bend to get pans and left them up can't reach up to cupboards . can you wash by yourself (NO) can't get in and out of shower can't bend to wash my lower body . Can you walk (NO) not unaided how far . Not more than a couple of yards without stopping because of the pain . Make sure you go with a walking stick.. you can say about how depressed you are with all the pain and how you can't sleep at night but want to sleep all the time can't function properly. Don't say some days I can do it by myself the main things they are looking for (DRESSING YOURSELF. COOKING BY YOURSELF. WASHING BY YOURSELF CLEANING YOUR HOME ) To all of these things answer No I hope that helps
