Members overwhelmingly confirmed that blurry vision is a common fibromyalgia symptom, often worsening with fatigue and affecting the eye muscles' ability to focus. Several members recommended practical solutions including fish oil supplements (1000 mg), artificial tears or lubricating eye drops throughout the day, eye ointment at night for dry eyes, and regular optician visits to rule out other conditions. A recurring theme was the frustration of adding yet another symptom to the list, balanced with relief in knowing they weren't alone and that simple remedies could provide real comfort.

Yes, as Valerie said, blurred eyes is a common symptom of fibro. If you have your eyes checked regularly with the optician, you can be sure it's nothing more serious.

My eye doctor recommended fish oil 1000 mg for my dry eyes. It helps. I also use artificial tears sometimes.

@A MyFibroTeam Member: One other thought on your burning mouth. A shortage of vitamin B-12 in the body can cause a sore mouth, and especially cracks in the corners of the mouth. Has your Dr. checked your B-12 levels? I take a sublingual, under-the-tongue B-12 daily, in addition to what my multi-vitamin has in it. The older a person gets, the harder it is for the body to absorb vitamins.
