I too have nausea, especially when the pain is level 10. It is so frustrating. The walk in clinic gave me a pill for the nausea. Sometimes I take antivert. I wish friends and family could understand the level of pain when I reach a 10. I was so lucky to be diagnosed over 20 plus years ago by my family physician. Most people had no idea what fibromyalgia even was at that time. I now have a nueroligist, rhuemitoligist, and pain management . I have a lot of anxiety, osteo arthritis, bulging discs in neck and lower back , carpol tunnel in both hands. I used to exercise 5 days a week. I miss the old me!
Try to find one friend that understands what you go through, and gives support on the bad days. Hugs!
Yes I am a lot. Did find out from blood tests if your magnesium is low you maybe nauseated more. Ginger tea really good. Or phenergan if nothing else works.
After I posted this question I found out the root of my problem. Some nerve coming from the herniated disc connects with stomach. Have been using ginger and it works perfectly. Thanks to all who answered. 💜💜💜
I hope you feel better! I have had nausea for years on a regular basis, sometimes from pain, sometimes migraine, sometimes food allergies, sometimes car sick, etc. I was actually surprised how well fresh ginger peeled and grated into hot water (then strained if you wish) works if you want something natural. I have also used the phergan but it makes me extremely drowsy. But I also found out there is a condition I have that sometimes goes along with the nerve problems like fibro called gastroparesis. It means my stomach empties too slow, so sometimes I vomit from that, but reglan can help it. Luckily for me the exercise Ive been doing helps that too. Hope something helps you. Its an embarassing problem for me. Like I vomitted in the car when my husband and I were dating before we got married, and on our honeymoon. We laugh about it now, but I was embarrassed at the time. Lol.
I too vomit when the pain is very bad, if I walk too much. Mine started with ruptured discs in lower back. The nerves that were crushed are connected to all the nerves in abdomen and affect tummy , bladder and bowls.
