I first feel pain, then feel sick to my stomach then feel too dizzy to stand up without the room swirling. Sometimes I lie down and I can’t speak but I can hear people talking to me. Nothing really helps wake me up. I just wait until it passes. Sometimes that can be up to 1 1/2 hours. I always feel extremely tired afterwards.
Interesting 🧐

It’s just awful what people have to go through 😣
Look up sleep paralysis and P O T S Syndrome and see if they sound like what you are describing.
I don't get it anymore. I'm thinking it was the person I was living with that caused these attacks. Last Yr I haven't had one of those attacks. Even after the second stroke. Living up to others expectations can trigger it off expecially when ill and they just think of themselves and what you are not doing for them. I call it kryptonite attacks.
Yes I used to experience this type of thing after the stroke and when pain was extremely high. 1 minute I'd be fine getting ready and the next my whole body would go into a anxiety state so much that everything seemed far away, sounds were in the distance I sometimes felt this coming on while out walking and had to get home ASAP. I'd lay down put a meditation on and do breathing exercises as best as possible. And yes after it passes you are totally exhausted.. I felt it had something to do with the vagus nerve and high cortisol levels. When this happens are you experiencing extreme pain when this happens. As this is what started it off for me.
There was nothing I could do but sleep after this happened. Its horrible. I also experience when out at times everything coming in on me. Sky coming down pavement coming up again extreme pain and I believe fear of being out while experiencing this extreme pain 💖💜
Hmm, what you're describing sounds a bit like catatonia, have you looked into FND?
