Gina you also said rib pain and I just did a YouTube called 200 symptoms of fibromyalgia posted by fibro mom and rib pain is also a symptom of fibromyalgia. I get that as well and before I did her survey I always thought the rib pain was from a previous rib injury or from the double herniated disc I have in my spine. I learned something new from her YouTube. I found I had over a hundred and fifty symptoms of fibromyalgia that she named.
Oh girl! Yes! Massage that starts gentle and slowly working up to more intense works wonders without meds. But it takes a while to work up to it. I had to bite my lip sometimes due to pain and my massage therapist said don’t! I was to tell her if it was that intense and she would decrease pressure instead. Massage is my medicine mostly. I have to have it to displace the pain pockets (that’s what I call them).
I have shoulder pain. My doctor does trigger point injections for it and it helps a lot.
It sounds like that's your clavicle bone which is one of the tender points and fibromyalgia. I know that's where I get the pain from that feels like it's a chest pain if you press on those bones is that the pain that you're feeling in your chest?
