Members overwhelmingly confirmed experiencing significant leg pain from the knees down, describing sensations ranging from deep muscle aches and stiffness to numbness, tingling, and feelings of extreme fatigue as if they had run a marathon despite minimal activity. Several members shared strategies that have helped them manage symptoms, including Lyrica (though some noted it lost effectiveness over time), Cymbalta, magnesium and B12 supplements, daily yoga practice, electric massagers, and taking pain medication first thing in the morning followed by gentle movement. A recurring theme was the unpredictable and frustrating nature of the pain, with many experiencing morning stiffness that either improves or worsens throughout the day, and members encouraging each other to consult doctors to rule out other causes like low potassium while acknowledging that lower leg pain is a common and debilitating feature of fibromyalgia.

Legs are always the most painful areas for me. I usually have a widespread pain on my bad days, but limbs are always the worst, especially lower legs and hands. I feel like I need to stretch and 'click' them, but it doesn't help. Leg pains in the mornings are almost constant, but if it's a good day I feel better after a short walk, if it's not then terrible leg pain all day long, feeling like I just ran the marathon. Lately, the pain is more annoying and persistent, maybe because of the seasonal change. Sometimes I feel it in my hips and upper leg as well, but more prominent in lower legs and feet ankles.

I use Cymbalta and take magnesium, b12 and q10 supplements daily.
