Unsure if there is an actual trigger
There is a strong connection between gut dysbiosis and fibro as well.
I have chronic gastritis. If your gut goes out of balance, it effects everything. This has caused a downward spiral of malnutrition, thyroid, gallbladder, liver, heart, lungs, brain issues. The Internet has plenty of information on this yet the doctors cannot connect the dots, so I continue to live in a miserable state.
Do you mean a trigger for the original onset of fibro? Or, do you mean a trigger that seems to "trigger" the exacerbation of what is already there? This whole thing is quite a guessing game as to what, how and when the condition actually started and then continues to be a trial and error guessing game as to what makes symptoms worse and remember to stay away from whatever that is.
Mine was triggered by autoimmune response. I have a very high positive ANA, Thyroid antibodies, CFS, dry eyes, mouth (Sjogren's) Rhumatic was positive, and neuropathy...just to name a few. I have had chronic candidiasis since my teenage years migraines, now I have suddenly developed allergies to just about everything around me.
For me my trigger was a very difficult delivery of my second daughter, I was never the same after that, but physical or emotional trauma can trigger fibro, I read about everything I could find on the subject but unfortunately I have never found a post about a cure, praying it will be soon, love and hugs
For me it was a car accident that cause a neck injury. Fibro symptoms were full blown just a few months after the accident.
