A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am looking for advice in filing for my Disability tax credit. I used to get it, new Dr says I am not handicapped enough 😢

I was approved for the tax credit and the savings account. Do you have another doctor that could help you with this. My Psychiatrist helped me with the paperwork as she has more experience with this sort of thing. I don't see how you were once accepted and not accepted know. Has something changed? If nothing has changed, then you need to find someone willing to help you with the paperwork. Keep trying!

Yes but not cppd havent worked enough to even qualify for it. But provincial disability yes it isnt a great amount its below the poverty line of survival but it covers a good chunk of medication so for that im thankful.

I'm on disability but not just with fibro. Did your doctor explain what he meant by "not handicap enough"?
