Ive had gastritis symptoms for a month now and want relief. Ive tried everything from acupuncture to natural things like bone broth, dgl licorice, probiotics, etc... everytime i think im feeling better i start to feel symptoms again. Its mainly reflux right now bit it hirts in my chest and back. I had my gallbladder out four years ago so im also worried it might also be bile reflux. Anyone??

Members responded to someone struggling with persistent gastritis and reflux after gallbladder removal, with many sharing their own similar experiences of stomach issues, missing gallbladders, and the frustrating cycle of symptoms returning just when they thought they were improving. Several members recommended practical next steps including getting scoped by a gastroenterologist for proper diagnosis, trying medications like Zantac, Prilosec, or rabeprazole for immediate relief, and exploring dietary changes such as eliminating simple carbs or trying a ketogenic diet, which some credited with completely resolving their reflux. A recurring theme was the complex interplay between fibromyalgia, stress, gut health, and diet, with members emphasizing the importance of professional testing while also sharing hope that relief is possible through the right combination of medical treatment and lifestyle adjustments.

Are you on benzodiazepines? I had awful gastritis, and the benzos made it worse.

Your doctor said it was a part of your fibro? I wasnt sure but this is the second time I've had gastritis in about four years. This time its worse. Tomorrow I will be starting a bone broth fast. Last time that was the only thing that healed me

Hi, I had major reflux for a long time. Finally went to dr and was diagnosed with celiac disease. Once I changed my diet, i don't have it too much. Also have large hiatal hernia, and ulcer. Thing is have them run other tests. We deal with such horrific pain, we don't need more. Sorry so long

I went to the doctor this week but may need to go again. Im worried i may have an ulcer. I had some issues with extreme stress and this is when the tummy issues went full blown.

You might need to go to the doctor and get scoped to get an accurate diagnosis. Have you had that done yet? Sorry you are feeling bad.
