Members responded with care to someone experiencing severe chronic gastritis alongside fibromyalgia, with several sharing their own struggles with digestive issues like IBS, diverticulitis, and stomach pain. Practical suggestions included coated peppermint pills, probiotics used with caution, DGL licorice capsules before meals, and a product called PepZinGi to help heal the stomach lining. A recurring theme was the importance of being gentle with remedies, consulting a doctor, and giving natural options enough time to work.

Gastritis, I think, means different things to different people. I had various symptoms, or ‘stomach’ issues. I read a book called The Keystone Aporoach and it led time to do two things, take coated peppermint pills (empty stomach only) and probiotics (I chose Pro-50) and my issues are 90% better. I am not recommending you do any of this but rather read the book if that sounds if interest and see if there is something that rings a bell.
Most importantly you may want to see a doctor if it persists. I hope this helps:)

Hi Tate, Please be careful with taking probiotics as with some people they can cause or make gastritis much worse. Depends on your symptoms, and I would urge you to be cautious just taking probiotics off the shelf. Maybe a better way to deal with it.
