Members shared their experiences with IBS and fibromyalgia during weather changes, with many describing how temperature drops, rain, and barometric pressure shifts can trigger intense pain and digestive flares. Several members offered practical strategies that have helped them manage symptoms, including taking papaya enzymes for digestive relief, using Linzess to prevent pain during cold weather, and relying on Imodium when needed, while others noted specific food triggers like sausages or grilled items. A recurring theme was the unpredictable daily struggle of living with chronic illness, from dreading social situations like eating out to navigating the emotional toll it takes on relationships and daily life.

Omg....fibro is ALL about the weather. Without the constant barometric pressure changes we'd all be fine.
