Yes I have IBS. I take dicyclimine it helps but I don’t take it often only when I’m having an IBS flare. I now have to watch what I eat closely. I never did before but with fibro my IBS has gotten worse.
I have had IBS ever since my Fibromyalgia symptoms started years ago. Over the years my IBS has gotten a lot worse. I just know it is a part of my life. My rheumatologist told me they have rx medications that he will not prescribe because they cause alzheimers and dementia. I told him I would not want them even if he did prescribe them. I do buy cvs antidiarrhea medication to have on hand, but found I do not use it until I absolutely have to because like my rheumy says better out than in. I do take probiotics three times a day which really helps me. I do still have IBS no matter what. I just eat small amounts of food but eat more times a day as what my dr. called grazing and to make sure I chew my food really, really good so it helps a lot in digestion. I quit soda which used to be the one thing I thought I would never do. Now I make a drink in my metal cup which is mostly bottled water but I put cvs pedialtye in it to flavor it as well as to help with the pain in my arms and legs that the pain goes deep into the bone. Hugs and prayers to all. God bless.
Have you been checked for gall bladder?
I’m continuing conversations with my dr as we try to determine what helps with mine. What is dicyclimine?
