Who wants to join my pity party tonight? I'm in a bad flare, I feel like I was in a car accident, my stomach hurts and is bloated from top to bottom, feel like I have to throw up, I'm so tired, head hurts, dizzy other than that I feel just ducky for New Years Eve πŸŽ‰πŸŽˆπŸ˜Ÿ Anyone that would like to join my pity party is more than welcome. I have plenty of heating pads πŸ‘

Members gathered for a virtual New Year's Eve pity party in response to someone experiencing a severe fibromyalgia flare, with many joining in to share their own struggles with pain, fatigue, bedbound days, cancelled plans, and the frustration of never knowing how they'll feel from one day to the next. Several members offered comfort through humor, prayer, virtual hot tubs in Hawaii, heating pads, Smooth Move tea, Epsom salt baths, and repeated doses of feel better, creating a space where it felt safe to be honest about how bad things really are without judgment. A recurring theme was the profound isolation and grief of missing out on life's joyful moments like family gatherings and preparing for a first grandchild, balanced by gratitude for a community that truly understands when family and friends cannot fully grasp the weight of chronic illness.

I pray for all of us. In this world of technology you would thing that someone would come up with a better treatment of fibro. It takes your old life away and leaves you with monitoring your health every day.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, you need a large dose of Feel Better. I'm sorry. Though I'm alone, I feel blessed to be alive and have a goodly measure of hopefulness for this new year. I'll pour you a tall mug (decaf tea). Praying for you. Happy New Year πŸŽˆπŸŽ†πŸŽŠ!

@A MyFibroTeam Member I will join too I have been in such pain from my recent injury. I have very little time to relax even in my own home. My daughter lives here right now and it is tense, all of the time. What shall we do for our pity party tonight. I love my heating pad.
