Today is our 39th anniversary, I had a rough night last night so I didn’t get much sleep. I hate that we don’t do much of anything anymore because of my health. We were supposed to be in the Smoky Mountains right now but I cancelled because I’ve been in a flare.....so I didn’t want to disappoint my husband today and just lay on the couch. I pushed through my shower (we were just going to do a movie and dinner) I got through the movie although I felt like crap and my stomach was a mess. We… read more

Awe this is fun, at least I’m smiling!! This brought back memories of the days I really could do stuff !! I loved my beer and dancing as well so this pity party is right up my alley. I’ll never forget my two sisters, myself and husband and a brother-in-law going to a Halloween party of my ball team! I blew up what seemed like hundreds of purple balloons and taped them on a garbage bag for each of us then wore nylons (new of course) lol on our heads which attached us all together and went like a bunch of grapes! It was so much fun but we had to walk to the party (thank god it was close) cause there’s no way we were fitting in a vehicle! We even carried a ghetto blaster playing Heard it Through the Grapevine!! Oh such fun so I’m coming as grapes to the pity party! Crack me a cold one please! Lol. @A MyFibroTeam Member, I’m so sorry to hear of your husbands passing, my heart goes out to you! @A MyFibroTeam Member, please give your husband a gentle hug from me for being such an understanding soul!! Okay, party on everyone!!
I'm Jason from friday the 13th n I'm bringing bloody Mary's for everyone
You are such a kind and compassionate woman. Here you are in a flare and in pain and you're worried about your husband. I will join your pity party! I'm laying in bed with my dog because my husband died six weeks ago in our kitchen on the floor. But you know what, as long as we were together it didn't matter where we were or what we were doing. It felt like home. So, there's no more home for me. Just a cold quiet house and a dog on my bed. I will dress up like a puppy dog because they are a comfort when everything you loved is lost. Love, Carly
HJberry, I have missed talking to you, at least in letters. You have to be one of the most loving and kind people I have never met in my whole life. :-) yesterday, I was still awake from the night before because I had to go see a lawyer and so I had been awake 24 hours and when I got home, my daughter called me from the hospital and said she was having her baby. My son came and brought me to the hospital and I didn't leave till midnight last night. I came home realizing I had had nothing to eat or drink all day so I made a frozen dinner real quick and went to bed. My fibromyalgia is making me pay for standing up for 7 hours at the hospital yesterday. But I got to put on my moon suit then go into the operating room and watch everleigh being born. :-) she was just 4 lb 4 oz and 16 in long but she is strong and she will be okay. Heather, the last 7 weeks that I have been alone here without my mark have been the hardest I've ever lived in my whole life. His soul is not here. So the house feels so empty. And yet here I am trying to hang on to the house so I don't become homeless. I wish I had one friend who would come and look at my eyes and talk to me. But I know how many people have it so much worse than I do so I am grateful for every little thing. I hope that you're feeling well. You never talk about your own problems. You always make everybody priority over yourself you touch my heart. I miss you my sister, love, Carly💜💜💜
