Members shared various approaches to managing leg pain, particularly in the thigh muscles and shins, with magnesium citrate emerging as a popular recommendation for muscle cramps and spasms, often paired with calcium and vitamin D3 for better absorption. Several members found relief through medications like Gabapentin or Neurontin for restless leg syndrome and nerve pain, Epsom salt baths for deep bone pain, and gentle exercise classes like circuit training or stroke wellness programs to improve mobility and ease stiffness. A recurring theme was the challenge of finding complete relief, with many combining multiple strategies including topical creams, tonic water, anti-inflammatory supplements like turmeric and bromelain, and in severe cases, long-acting pain medication to make daily movement more manageable.

Hello.
I've been advised by my heart doctor to take magnesium citrate for angina spasms and I've noticed has helped with muscle cramps in my legs. Also take Gabapentin and that also helps with restless leg syndrome and that heavy feeling in legs. Helps too with the crawly bug feeling I get on my legs. Hope this helps.
Hugs and God bless.
