I have an appointment with my neurologist tomorrow who has been looking after me for the last 10 years for chronic migraine, do you think he will be interested in my fibro diagnosis? Not sure whether to bring it up!
Had a successful trip to see my neurologist who is concentrating more on my fibro as he feels my migraines are being well managed with the Gabapentin - he's liaising with my GP to try and find somethings that will help with my mood and insomnia - Amytriptaline is know longer doing the job! Thanks everyone for your input on this question, means a lot to get good advice from those that having been fighting this condition as long as you haveπ
@A MyFibroTeam Member when it comes to fibromyalgia you are correct we ate more educated as we go through it Every day and we are diligently looking for ways to cure ourselves.
Good luck @Abimbola, I had a really positive appointment yesterday, hope you do toπ xx
Never hurts to all questions. If he can't help hell direct you to the right doctor. As for my migraines yes I've seen him for that and for when I ephasha (sp?). Some meds cause it that they gave me for my fibro and that Dr sent me to neurology. At the time I didn't know that it was the med causing it, but when my friend who went through it and was a nurse she told me what caused it so I had to get off the meds. Fibro fog is bad enough.
I believe it is your obligation to disclose everything.
