Help please. I need advice. I've been referred to a neurologist for the possibility of ALS or MS and couldn't get in until the end of January. With comments from the neurosurgeon I begged my way in to see the neurologist tomorrow. I'm in the process of appealing my short term disability denial and when I told my husband tonight how nervous I am about the neurologist appointment tomorrow he was more concerned with meeting with my credit union regarding my credit card since I currently have no… read more

I go to a neurologist and a rheumatologist. They thought I had parkinsons and or MS, it has been alot of guess work, it is alot of testing . I had a mri of my brain in December of 2014 then I had a mri of my brain, neck, and lower back, in December of 2015 and lots of blood tests ruling things out. My neurologist did diagnose me with fibromyalgia, but he said I'm a tough case (tremors) and is sending me back to my rheumatologist January 11th. Good luck! Please let us know how you do, Hugs and prayers!

Hang in there just breath, getting upset wouldn't help you. Credit union can wait, your health is more important. I been waiting for Social Security for 3 years, I don't care about the debt anymore my health is more important. Hope things work out at neurologist. Just breath
I'd go to the neurologist, but I'd go on my own. The doctor most likely won't be able to tell you anything tomorrow, so having your husband there probably wouldn't help you out anyway. It would be more important for him to go with you when you get test results. But, getting the ball rolling to find out what is going on will give you answers sooner which is important for your well being. You might even be able to make it to the credit union later in the day. Good luck to you!
Your health is your priority. That's such a scary thing to have on your mind.
