How long does it take for Lyrica to work? It's been about 5 days and I feel worse.
So now it's a year later and I'm very depressed at the point I never leave my house unless I have to take the kids somewhere or I have to do something. I ignore most of my texts from friends I have a doctors visit it seems like at lease a doctor a week or every other week. I hardly eat I haven't ever gotten more then three hours of sleep sense my surgery in 2014 that started all my issues three hours was if hell froze over and I was extremely lucky. But I'm now 235 pounds never in my life even when I was pregnant with twins did I ever weigh more then 175 pounds! I hate everything everyone nothing is going right I hate myself. I'm not myself at all I don't know who's shell this is. I'm the jeans with boots sassy chick with the cute top makeup done hair long and straight chick. Who is this double chinned blob in front of the mirror that only fits in sweats or stretch pants?? Don't bother putting makeup on that face it's a waste of your expensive makeup. I stomped into my neurologists office and demanded he take me off the lyerca right that minute. He said it takes time to come off my high dose what ever just get me off. So I was I go down one capsule a week that's like a month no way I said so what do I do like a idiot I do it in a week I do one dog hers one dog my new ones back and forth for the week then switched completely over. Yeah wrong move but I didn't care. I don't like myself big!! Then I found this article and it really explained a lot to me about why I'm responding to people slow and so on the way I am and why I space out all the time and why my words take so long to get out. The medicine they are talking about in here is gabapentin and lyerca nuroton is gabapentin gabapentin is the generic for it just so everyone knows. Also your doctors will blow this off like mine did and will laugh making a joke then every medicine does something like this. Well I'm not on every med I'm on there. So I'm off these and on a crappy one for fibomalgya I need a good one.

My sister has MS and a lot of our symptoms are similar to MS and it helps her out a great deal. I'm not a smoker at all and I'm one of those type people who have to be in control all the time cause I have four kids blah blah. But they do have about four different strands out that do different things and that effect you different ways. Not all get you high some go in your blood stream and help directly with the pain it's a patch form. I do not know the name of the place that I found to help me I know I should but I forget it every single time go figure lol. They have explained all types to me got me a doctor made the appointment for me and will go with me to the appointment. They also handle all my paperwork and get me my card faster then as if I did it and sent it in. Fast meaning by weeks faster and they start the whole process after my first doctor visit and they require two visits in Illinois and now the doctors are accepting Medicare and the state Inturance as well. I found them by just googling help for getting the medical weed card. And they popped up I filled out their information and someone called the next day.
Actually @9ValerieLynnDavis I'm going July 7th to get my card with this doctor. Because of how these medications are just making everything worse or happen faster then it should be.
There have been lawsuits against neurotin matter of fact I believe two have been done that were huge. I know there were all over the TV if you took neurotin during this time span please call this number you're untitled to money. So I would look up lawsuits against them. They both damage your brain and have long term lasting effects on the person who has to take the medicine.
I'm not going to lie I'm going to be 100% honest with you here. I was on lyerca I went up to 100mg 4 times a day along with 3800mgs total a day of gabapentin at the same time. For a little while about six month it helped with my hands mostly. Then I felt like I was starting to get stupid. Not joking like I would blank stare I'm forgetting everything I was going to say it's taking me way longer to get my words out then to think just was hard like I need a nap after I try to read a paragraph. Not to mention when I was put on these two meds I was 135 pounds and yeah I was depressed but more angry as hell then depressed. After the six months of the two meds combined I told my neurologist I can't stand this gabapentin I'm still having a ton of muscle spasms and they are getting harder and harder. And it seems like more and more a day. He said ok yeah your pain doctor had you on the highest that they allow they being the FDA. So he put me on baclfin it has helped the spasms but I'm also at the max on it and need the pump implanted but a whole story.
