What do you do for pain? I'm rx'd an anti inflammatory and a muscle relaxer. I take the anti inflammatory as directed. The muscle relaxer is rx'd as up to 3 times a day. If I take one, within 20 minutes I'm knocked out. My rheumatologist says just to take one before bed. So now what? My hand/wrist is useless. I hurt. If I wrap it will that help? I don't know. I can't handle this
anymore.

I do put brace at wrists and even at elbow. My physiotherapist told me not to ware it all day long which I found difficult because EVERY tasks is painful but it really helps! Also, the physiotherapy helps me a lot! I just started but even the very first treatment gave me more movement and less pain

Hi, I'm so sorry that you are having all this pain especially with you hands. Intake tramadol for pain and tizanidine is my muscle relaxer which is prescribed for me 3 times daily sometimes I take it 3 times but if I don't need it that often I don't take. I also take amitriptyline this I take her fibro headaches, to help with insomnia. I also take soak bathes with Dr Teals Epsom soak. It really helps you can purchase this at Walmart. I buy the whole line. The Epsom salt, Oil and cream even for my feet. Try it it may be helpful, but with fibro flare ups sometimes we just have to rest and allow it to run its course. God bless you. Ikno today is not a great day. Drink some herbal tea chamomile, peppermint, but make sure its caffeine free.
