Yes my dear it is emotional abuse, he is just looking for an excuse for his own failures.
As a survivor of domestic abuse I can say that emotional abuse leaves wounds on the inside and they heal much slower than physical wounds...... It sounds like you are nearing a crossroads in your life... Be strong and please stay safe. ((HUGS))

Thank you again to everyone brave enough to share your stories with me. I am so honored to be surrounded by such strong amazing women. I couldn't ask for a better support structure. I know it's just online but.. I thank each one of you!
You are in emotional abuse situation. Yes, I have been where you are. When he is attacking you it's because he is thinking about himself. He is insecure and taking it out on you. I divorced my husband after 21 years together. I had no identity and I fell apart. It was definitely the hardest thing that I had to do. It's not fair to you to continue living in a abusive relationship. I will be praying for you! Gentle hugs always, Darla
