I have always had trouble with dizziness and Blurry vision since being diagnosed. Lately I have been having double vision and it's getting worse. I will be looking at my phone and literally see two of them. When I shake my head to try two pull it back to seeing one I get a headache. I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

Members shared their experiences with double vision and blurry vision related to fibromyalgia, with several describing how this symptom has significantly impacted their daily lives, including requiring them to leave their jobs or give up driving. Many community members described practical coping strategies, including closing one eye to reduce double vision, using omega-3 fish oil and eyelid shampoo to manage dry eye and infections, and ensuring all doctors are aware of medications since drugs like gabapentin can cause lazy eye and worsen vision problems. A recurring theme was the importance of getting vision changes checked by doctors to rule out other causes, while also recognizing that blurry and double vision are unfortunately common fibromyalgia symptoms that often require regular monitoring and adaptation.

If you have double vision you should see your Dr. asap to get it checked out.

I take gabapentin and it makes me have a lazy eye which makes me see two of everything. The doctors knows about it, I already can't drive due to all the meds I'm on so I just deal with it but it is annoying.

Make sure all doctors know your RX's and OTC meds. They could be culprits

Wow I thought I was rubbing my eyes all the time because I had allergies. & I just recently got a cyst on my eyelid which has caused my most recent fibro flare up because they had to Lance it and push the cyst out and he told me that it may require an optometrist or ophthalmologist to surgically remove the area now it's getting a little scary
