Members overwhelmingly related to the experience of feeling uncomfortably hot even in winter, with many describing sudden heat flashes, night sweats, and profuse sweating that can be embarrassing and disruptive to daily life. Several members shared potential contributing factors, including fibromyalgia itself affecting circulation and the nervous system, medication side effects (especially oxycodone), perimenopause or menopause, and severe vitamin deficiencies, with some finding relief through vitamin B supplements, flaxseed oil, or adjusting their medications. A recurring theme was the frustration of doctors dismissing these symptoms or attributing them solely to menopause, when members felt certain their fibromyalgia played a significant role, especially since some experienced these issues long before menopause or any medication changes.

I too have got flashes and it does have something to do with the fibromyalgia. I have spoken to the Dr about it and after testing it was my circulation. The body is trying to deal with the attack on the nervous system. We have nerves everywhere and everyones body deals with it differently

Also mine started before medication and medication I've been on for years and years with no problems. So definitely fibro related for me.
