Good morning to all you beautiful people out there. I was wondering if anyone has experienced night sweats where you wake up wet. Your hair, chest and back is wet but it is not hot as it has been raining since yesterday? It is the first time I've experienced this..
Hope to hear from you soon. xxx

Members overwhelmingly confirmed that profuse night sweats are a common fibromyalgia symptom, with many experiencing drenching sweats regardless of season or room temperature, often waking up multiple times to change clothes or bedding. Several members shared practical strategies including using cooling pads under pillows, sleeping with fans on, keeping wet wipes and dry pajamas bedside, layering bedding for easy adjustment, and staying hydrated with electrolytes to prevent muscle cramps. A recurring theme was that night sweats often worsen during flares or after particularly exhausting days, with members encouraging tracking patterns, ruling out medication side effects or other conditions like menopause, and ultimately accepting this as another frustrating but manageable part of living with fibromyalgia.

My menopause has lasted a flipping long time then! :D I have a cooling pad and it does help, although I find I have to turn it over regularly. I believe cooling pillows, which draw the warmth away, are available. It doesn't matter how cold it is outside, my bedroom window is open. I have layers on the bed that are folded back, so if I do get chilly I can draw a layer (or more) over me and then easily strip them back again. Hope you get a good night's rest soon. Healing Hugs
