I've had this disease for over 30yrs. Today I'm hurting so bad and I can hardly walk, But on my normal pain day I hang out with positive people I won't let this disease take my life away from me, My advice is set goals stay positive and be very grateful for the many things you do have,

It's absolutely real and can be due to a lack of vitamins for some people. However, it also can be from other things such as diet, lack of sleep, environment (family, noise, stress, work pressure, lack of exercise or too much exercise). All I know is that those are regular symptoms we battle daily. Not fun :( I mean I'm 36 and feel like I need to nap in the day as a result of being exhausted. Even if i get a good night sleep, still tired and more so when I don't sleep well too. If I overwork I get fatigue and everything will start bugging me and then i get filled with anxiety and usually top it off with a cry. However someone I manage to keep pushing as we all do :) happy I have all of to help on this fighting journey. Love and prayers to all of you and hugs too.

It is both in my case. I beat myself up because I always believe I need to get everything done I can while I am not hurting.....then I run out of steam. Not over time, but if I sit down, I am done. I am learning to not beat myself up....learning! Self forgiveness is helpful, and really rest when you need to.

It truly is horrible to feel like that but if you try and fight it you might actually hurt yourself, I've worn my hot cup of tea once too often now. I've also dropped my iPad and laptop on the floor because I nodded off sitting up. It's a major side effect to the majority of meds we are taking and there isn't much you can do. My husband knows and thankfully understands that sometimes I do need to sleep through the day

It's most definitely real. Unfortunately, I'm in the middle of a flare up with my fatigue these days and I hate it. I am back to needing to sleep for 10-20 hours a day and I still feel like I need more sleep! I have little to no energy. If I go out, I only have enough energy for about an hour. If I'm lucky. Last weekend, we went to the store and I thought I was going to collapse!

I noticed awhile ago that artificial sweeteners, sodas, sugar, etc were my energy zappers. Whenever I indulge in them, I have to limit it to a very small quantity or else I'll regret it now. I have pretty much cut them all out of my regular diet and I've noticed a huge difference in how I feel.

I know a lot of people say that exercise is important too. I try to do that but all I have the energy for these days is to walk to the end of the driveway. Perhaps I'll gain my energy back and will be able to walk my dogs a few times a day again soon. But it's hard! Especially when your body hurts and it's cold out right now and that makes our bodies hurt more.

It's a tough condition to have, for sure. But this fatigue is real! It is not in your mind. I wish I had a solution for you on how to get rid of it. Once I figure that out, I'll let everyone know. ; ) Hang in there, friend. Stay strong.
