Dose anyone out there suffer really bad with there muscles jumping obout in there bodies like when you finely drop off to sleep it feels like your heart is going to jump out of your chest and your legs can move up and down quickly and other muscles are the same and it frighteners you out of your sleep and it happens every night so you don't have much sleep it's worrying me

It comes with the territory I'm afraid. It can be very violent and seems to happen when you relax your whole body not just in bed. It happens even if I drift off for a nap in the chair. I've even found my arm knocking things off my bedside table. Try not to worry about it too much as that will add to your stress and make your condition worse.

yes, usually right before I fall asleep. My arms and legs jerk like someone shocked me.

I am taking magnesium 250. once at night. I was taking it in the morning to but cant take it with my synthroid. but find the one at night helps with spasms and feet pain. I just get the over counter. If you decide to try it you may want to ask your doc or pharm. to make sure it doesn't mess with your other medications before you try it

They called mine muscle fasculations. I just live with it .I hit my husband a couple of times, also I woke him up when my leg jerked a couple of times. Mine even are in my stomach and back . Good luck with this, if I find out any information I will let you know.
