Shingles Then Fibro
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone else gotten fibro after having shingles? Also if you did, how long did it take for the shingles pain to stop?!

I had shingles about a year or so prior to being diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
Most of my Shingles lasted about a month with pain.

I had shingles when I was 18 and 23. (Right in time for college graduation) then a few months later I got diagnosed with fibro. I've heard the pain can linger up to 1 year. I've never been in so much pain in my life. I hope the shingles pain goes away soon. Its too much to handle on top of this horrible illness.

I have had shingles 3 times since I first had fibromyalgia symptoms. It is nasty and painful, try sudocream, it last about 7-10 days. Hope youre feeling better soon, sending you gentle hugs xxx
