I've been on Cymbalta for depression, gabapentin, tizanidine, and tramadol. I could function quite well with that. Now my GP stopped writing pain scripts and referred everyone to pain magmt center. Cymbalta has caused me to gain 30 lbs and I swear I have more muscle tension/pain than before I started taking it but my Dr.s and the Pharmacist say that it is not really a possible side effect of the drug, so I guess my Fibromyalgia has gotten worse?? I still take it because it helps me sleep, and I feel less anxious. Lyrica made me feel mentally challenged even at the smallest dose. I got scared and stopped after 2 weeks. I have also read that it causes major weight gain and swelling.

I sincerely hope you find one very soon. And I hope I find one too.

I do twice a day once in the am and then at bedtime it helps most days. Then there are the flare days that nothing seems to help

Ultram worked great for me and I didn't have any side effects. I took for 15 years until it was no longer effective. I have switched to Oxycodone which is not as effective on the pain. Hope to go back to Ultram in the future.
