Members enthusiastically shared their experiences using Young Living essential oils to manage fibromyalgia symptoms, with peppermint and wintergreen being the most popular choices for pain relief when applied directly to affected areas, while citrus oils like lemon and grapefruit were commonly used for mood elevation and energy. Several members described creating personalized combinations or "pain bombs" using oils such as Deep Relief, Copaiba, PanAway, Idaho Balsam Fir, and frankincense, applied topically, ingested in capsules, added to baths, or diffused at night with lavender for better sleep. A recurring theme was that everyone responds differently to oils, with some experiencing relief within minutes while others noted certain oils like peppermint could trigger migraines, emphasizing the importance of experimenting to find what works best for your individual body.

@A MyFibroTeam Member It sure is very interesting. Sometimes if an oil gives me a headache I put it on my feet (if it's from the smell) or drink a lot of water to flush my system- tends to help. Migraines would be the worst!

I do. Peppermint and wintergreen help me for pain- applied directly to where it hurts. I also use citrus oils for uplifting- apply or inhale or diffuse (lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange, tangerine). When I have trouble with respiratory issues I apply/ inhale Rosemary and eucalyptus on my chest. Peppermint is also great for tummy woes- applied directly to stomach. I know some others who have fibro and use YL and like Clove and Idaho basalm fir for pain.
