I've been getting charlie horses (muscle cramps) in my stomach and they are BRUTAL. I'm get them in my legs and feet but now my stomach. I bent over to pick up my lap top from the floor and I got a cramp so bad I thought I was going to throw up. It took forever to work it out. You could feel the bulge of muscles in my stomach. Anyone else get cramps in unusual places?
I get them all over, but for me the worst are in my feet, back of thigh, and bicep.
I get them under my ribcage. It's excruciating!
For the past 4 days I've been getting full body spasms. Feels just like a Charlie horse but everywhere. It's debilitating! I see my rheumatologist tomorrow and I hope he can help. I can't live like this. The only thing that's helped even alittle has been muscle relaxers. The problem is I can function on them and sleep most the day until they wear off and the spasms start again.
Well that explains the horrible spasms I use to get in my shoulder blades. That pain was just horrible. A few years back I woke up one morning with horrible pain in my abdomen. My husband had to take me to the ER. I think they thought I was just seeking pain meds. Well I was but not in that way. They did a CT scan and did not find anything wrong. In the mean time, I started having esophageal spasms. That was a double shot of major pain. It finally subsided. I think you have shown me what was actually happening to me that day. Thanks for sharing
I have found that Hyland's Leg Cramp pills do the trick. Accidentally bought quick-dissolving under-the-tongue kind but it works really well. there is quinine in it. My charlie horses happen in my fee and up my shins (ow!). My limbs hyperextend causing it a lot and making it more difficult to grow muscle. Not sure of what to say about specific pain cuz I am a hurting unit all over. Thanks folks for your ideas.
