Members widely related to the question about feeling off balance without dizziness, sharing experiences that ranged from bumping into walls and tripping over furniture to more severe consequences like broken bones from falls. Several members described additional symptoms that accompany their balance issues, including ear fullness and ringing, light-headedness, vertigo treated with medications like Xanax and Antivert, and some noting that balance problems worsened before flares or improved after switching to an organic diet. A recurring theme was the frustration of trying to describe this specific off-balance sensation to others who don't experience it, with many using humor to cope with the daily challenge of navigating a world that feels physically unpredictable.

Yes, I've been trying to describe it to my husband. He calls them dizzy spells but I'm not really dizzy, it's more like being on a boat and just having to take a step forward or back to steady myself. Haven't talked to the doctor about it yet though

I had a big problem with that before I changed my diet to organic. I sometimes think we fibro people are like postal scales in a pound/kilo scale world. Every little weight change is far more likely to throw off the balance.

I have dizziness and kind of a numb, tingly feeling in my lips. Increased confusion. This always seems to happen right before a bad flare. Sometimes I get super itchy too
