A member dealing with serious illness reached out after feeling hurt by others in the community, and was met with an outpouring of warmth, prayers, and encouragement. Several members offered gentle advice, including blocking anyone who causes stress, forgiving but protecting your peace, and focusing energy on healing rather than conflict. A recurring theme was that those who lash out often carry their own pain, and that coping with illness takes real strength that deserves to be honored and protected.

@A MyFibroTeam Member If anyone has a problem with you sweetheart that says more about them than you.
The only person you need to take notice of is you. We are not defined by our illnesses, Coping with an illness shows strength. If someone can't see how strong you are then block them from your life. With love and prayers Peps πŸŒΎπŸŒ·πŸŒΊπŸ™ŒπŸ™πŸ»

@A MyFibroTeam Member Unfortunately sweetheart life does not work that way. Not everyone can like us, No matter how kind caring and try to be nice to others. They don't have to like us, I use this as a learning experience. You will always at some point in life come up with people that are envious jealous hurtful cruel and it's got absolutely nothing about you it's all about how they feel in life as a whole so it comes across in the way they react to you.
They are the ones with pain in their hearts and it comes out at you. You can forgive them and still block them to protect yourself.
'Forgive them for they know not what they do'
Someone said that many many years ago. Way before the Internet came about.
It is much easier for people to be misunderstood and lash out at someone on social media now. They do not really know you. All they know is a profile image which says very little and a few words on a story you may have written on your bio. That story isn't even who you are, it is a few words which in the grand scheme of things says very little. If your illness is getting worse for any reason then get rid of the reason don't look back. Hurt people hurt people sweetheart πŸŒΊπŸŒΈπŸ¦‹πŸŒ·β£οΈ

Pepsi2, I can understand what you are telling me. It's not easy to be friends with everyone. They have issues they must deal with. I've tried! My conditions are getting so severe. I must look ahead. Not backwards. Thank you for being there for me. πŸŒΊπŸŒΉπŸ’–πŸ™πŸ€—πŸ«‚
