Members responded to the question about vulvodynia with relief at finding others who understood their experience, sharing how the condition often goes hand-in-hand with fibromyalgia, lower back problems, and interstitial cystitis. Several members offered practical relief tips including wearing loose clothing without underwear, using fragrance-free or moisture-based cleansers, avoiding hot baths, applying cold or heat packs, and asking a doctor about estrogen cream or low-dose naltrexone. A recurring theme was the emotional journey from fear and isolation to acceptance and humor, with many encouraging others to advocate for themselves with doctors and lean on community support.

From what I understand, this can be a common complaint with Fibro women. I went to a pelvic floor specialist for this and she prescribed estrogen cream: Estradiol vaginal cream 0.1 %. It worked well for me and now I only use it periodically. ๐Ÿ’œ

Hey I had a friend that had hormonal issues after seeing a gynaecologist they prescribed her cream as the woman stated in the above comments and it got better. She was having trouble with pain dryness and chaffing found it hard to walk due to the pain and chaffing. Her Back hurt too I think.

I found normal everyday soap really dried out my skin, definitely do not use it in delicate places.
Bioderma is what I use in the bath, if I have the bath water too hot it can start the pain off in the undercarriage ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Fortunately, I have a very understanding husband. But at first I had to sit down with him and discuss all the wonderful gifts that fibromyalgia gives to you besides just muscle pain๐Ÿ™„.. I pray that someday people will try to learn to understand others issues before they judge.๐Ÿ˜˜
