It depends how bad the flare up is and which part of my body is being affected by the flare up. I've had flare ups in my upper part of my body and I usually keep doing things just not as much. But when I have a flare up in my legs or all over my body, I'm laid up I can't do anything due to the pain and lack of mobility. It's about doing what you think is best for you. But remember flare ups drain you so doing things during a flare up can make it worse sometimes. You have to find a healthy balance. But it's also a case of what's there today will be there tomorrow. So just rest. Hope this helps a little xxxx
I agree with Laura, You have to do what you can when you can. And rest in between or after you are through. 🌺🌹❤️🌷🌼🏵️🌻
I rest. Full stop. Then begin to do things again gradually. The fatigue sometimes precedes the pain for me. When I feel that fatigue that is my body's red light telling me to STOP now immediately and rest. If i dont stop the pain will start and then I am out of commission for days or weeks.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I think you are right about total inactivity. I should alter my response. Gotta keep juice in the joints.

You've got to rest. I've been having a flair myself and it was just getting worse trying to drag myself to do things. Today was a day of rest for me the only thing I did was wash the dishes and that was it. Been resting all day and I feel a little better.
