After working for over 30 years, I decided it was time to retire. I knew I would need a new routine. Sundays I plan out my week on my calendar.
Each morning starts out like it did when I was going to work. After I am dressed, I have my coffee and start on the chores for that day. Each day has a new set of chores, a podcast to listen to, meals to prepare, puzzles to work on.
However, I allow my body to dictate what gets done during the day. If I need more rest, I stop and rest. 🤗❤️
Hi Lore, I retired early, first because I became a grandmother, second is because I’m her primary care giver. For me, I walk almost every day, I get out with my dog first thing in the morning to get my body moving. Someone days are better than others, especially when dealing with fibromyalgia. Someone on here said they make a list, which I love. It gives you something to see and accomplish everyday. Prioritize your list of what’s most important and don’t feel that you have to complete everything on the list, do what you can, even if it’s just making the list. If can’t do anything on a specific day, don’t beat yourself up my friend, there’s always tomorrow. Everything will still be there. I hp
Ope this helps you. Baby steps.❤️🌷🥰
Howdy! I write a to do list every day. I start with everyday no matter what chores. i.e. pets, kitchen, shower, get dressed, etc. Then if I feel up to it I add an extra 1 or 2 or 3. If I can't do more I rest so I can make dinner. My husband always does the dinner dishes. I find the list to be motivating. I'll be thinking about you. L,V
I’m a housewife and Mum to an AuDHD 10 year old.
In the morning I get up and do the school run, then I do chores when I get back. After that I do 1/2 hour of reading, then some housework, then 1/2 hour of sitting down tasks. Repeat until it’s time to get son from school.
