I’m on Depakote and Cymbalta so I’m not sure if that would cause a problem.
Hi Lore I use electrolyte and muscle ease which has a blend of magnesium and b vitamins drink recommended by my nutritionist which I drink before breakfast and throughout the day and I have just started drinking matcha in the morning for energy also after I have done my stretching exercises hope this is helpful but I no longer take medication was allergic to gabapentin♥️
This is a tough one, especially since for some of us nothing seems to help. I take NAD+, a combo of B vitamins and drink protein coffee. I have CFS so there are days when nothing works at all. Exercise can help with the fibromyalgia part, but overdoing that can take you down when you have CFS. My doctor briefly tried Buspirone, but it didn’t help much and just made me feel irritable. Like everything else, I think it’s trial and error until you find what works for you.
I take green tea supplements which help me alot. But I take lots of other vitamins as well so the combination just works well together. Xx
Great question — and a smart one to ask, especially when you're already on medications like Depakote and Cymbalta. Some supplements can interact with these, so checking with your doctor first is really important before adding anything new.
That said, several MyFibroTeam members do use supplements to help with fibromyalgia Show Full Answer
If you have kidney disease you should ask your doctor about any supplements that could affect your kidneys. I can't take magnesium or vitamin D and several others. Just check first.
