Batavia, IL

I have been struggling with the up and down weather patterns flaring the fibromyalgia lately. I end up not going to church. You know the tug of war drill. I want to go, but my energy is just nil and I hurt, so I end up not going to services.

I’m sorry you find yourself unable to go to your services, Jodi.

If your church doesn’t offer an online service, perhaps you could look into another.
Most churches around here still offer online services since Covid. 🤷‍♀️🤞

Or maybe find a way to add some space in this time for something like scripture reading and contemplation. 💛

I haven’t been able to go for years now. these days, I cannot get up early enough to get there. The times I tried to go. I ended up in a bad flareup. I can’t sit through the service either because of my hips …this happens to a lot of people as they get older, especially for people like us. I listen to Christian music and sing along with it. I pray to the Lord all the time I read his word ,there’s some online groups you can join too which are quite nice.🙏🏻💞

@A MyFibroTeam Member...............Greta question!
I want to go to church but I am not physically up to it, so I came up with some alternatives:
!. Look for televised church services of your favorite church.
2. Look for online church services.
3. Watch religious programs on the TBN+ channel or the App.

Me too. The past few weeks, I wanted to attend services and special activities but had no energy and too much pain in my Achilles Tendon besides body wide pain. I ended up watching the service on line and watching other services on line. I love art and try to follow art programs, classes, and education. I have not been able to paint lately for my classes. I just watch. I have found ways to still have a good day even though I am home on the couch when it is a bad day.
