Members overwhelmingly shared positive experiences with Venlafaxine for anxiety, with many reporting that it helped them sleep better, reduced both anxiety and physical pain, and improved their overall ability to cope without causing a fuzzy or zombie-like feeling. Several members described their dosing journeys, noting that starting at 75 mg worked well for some while others needed to adjust to 150 mg, and emphasized the importance of giving the medication time to work, typically a couple of weeks before feeling the full benefits. A recurring theme was encouragement and solidarity, with members offering prayers, celebrating small victories in the medication adjustment process, and reminding each other to be patient and advocate for the right combination of treatments.

I’ve been on it for a long time. It works very well for me.

Yes I am currently on it. Recently also had a double mastectomy for invasive breast cancer and radiation; it is a small dose, but helps me sleep better, not toss and turn so much!

My anxiety is under control, I have less pain because my anxiety is less, and I don’t feel fuzzy or like a zombie either. My husband is on it too, but he had to increase to 150 mg. Everyone is different, to give it some time,
