I have spinal stenosis as well. I see a pain doctor and have ablation on both sides of neck about every 18 months. The pain relief is miraculous. The effects can last 6 months to 2 years. It helps with my chronic headaches too.

I have had a lot of neck problems. Got physical therapy twice for it and it helped with range of motion and pain. I have spinal stenosis in my neck so that causes lots of pain.

Are you experiencing severe neck problems with constant pain and limited mobility?

Yes, many MyFibroTeam members deal with severe neck pain and mobility issues. Chronic pain that persists 24/7 is unfortunately common with fibromyalgia, and neck problems can be particularly challenging.

The combination of wear and tear plus spinal fractures you're experiencing sounds especially difficult. While fibromyalgia itself causes widespread pain and stiffness, structural issues like fractures can compound the problem significantly.

Some things that might help include:
- Heat therapy or TENS units for pain management
- Gentle stretching when possible (always check with your doctor first given your fractures)
- Pain medications prescribed by your healthcare provider
- Physical therapy tailored to your specific limitations

A MyFibroTeam member shared how visible their pain becomes when mobility is severely affected - describing hunched shoulders, difficulty bending, and shuffling movements. They emphasized that even when the pain isn't visible to others, it's still there constantly.

Have you discussed pain management options specifically for your neck with your doctor? Given the spinal fractures, you may need specialized care beyond typical fibromyalgia treatment.
