Pain mid back, and between the shoulders. Pain in chest, above breast area. Not constant, just speradic. Iv had it now about two weeks but iv also suffered the same thing in the past. Any ideas or advice. Or even some reassurance. I feel like I'm going crazy. Constantly worried and feeling anxious that I'm dying 😭😭😭😭

Kylie, It sounds like Costeochrondritis. A lot of us get it off and on. For some it’s so bad they think they are having a heart attack. Carrying groceries or pull/ push furniture are some of the ways can trigger it. First week is the worst, second hurts a lot , week three starts to ease, and gone week four. Advil etc helpful. Some like heat other ice.

Thank you so much for this. I did get diagnosed with this way, way back. Maybe that's what it, a flare up of that. Reading your reply has eased my anxiety a little. Much appreciated, thank you and big hugs xx

Iv tried using a heat pad on my chair. Thought it would ease my pain but oddly, when I put it on, the pain worsens 😭😭 I feel so fed up. I really do.

Kylie, very welcome So glad it helped. Most of us get this. I can’t carry grocery bags or move furniture. It leads to flareup of this. It usually gets some better by third week. And leaves after four weeks

Ditto Dear VicChang's brilliant share! It's basis is inflammation.
