Members overwhelmingly confirmed that fibromyalgia can cause electric shock sensations in joints and throughout the body, with many describing these shocks traveling down their arms, across shoulders and neck, down legs, and even into the head and face. Several members shared that medications like pregabalin help manage these nerve pain symptoms, while staying active through the pain and using comfort measures like extra bedding or soft sheets can provide some relief. A recurring theme was the validation and solidarity of knowing others truly understand these painful and often misunderstood sensations.

Yes it does, I get electric shocks going down my arms across my neck and shoulders. From my lower back down both legs. It can also be felt in the head. Or going up the back of the neck into the head. Hope this helps 🥰 sending love and healing

I've explained that I felt like electricity going through my arms and hands to my doctor.I am sorry 😔 you are having the same symptoms.I didn't think anyone would understand my pain.it feels like electricity and pain to a point where I felt like I could put my hand through a cement wall and that I was already in so much pain that it wouldn't even hurt.please try to be active through the pain it's the best remedy I've found.
