Members connected over the frustrating reality of waking frequently at night to use the bathroom, with many attributing it to fibromyalgia-related irritable bladder, chronic kidney disease, or complications from medical procedures. Several members shared helpful treatments that have worked for them, including Oxybutynin for overactive bladder, Lyrica taken before bed to reduce nighttime urgency, and estrogen cream prescribed by a gynecologist for hormone-related issues. A recurring theme was the impact on sleep quality and the importance of advocating with doctors to find solutions, with members offering encouragement, practical advice, and prayers for one another as they navigate this uncomfortable symptom.

Just like fibro causes irritable bowel syndrome, it can cause irritable bladder too. Seems everything is irritable about fibro. Could talk to the doctor about it, but it's not unusual with fibro. Good luck. Hope you get some relief. Sending you a gentle hug----I wouldn't want to squeeze too hard(if you know what I mean?).

I do during the day. If I sleep well I don’t wake to pee. Sometimes it’s because you’re not sleeping well and you wake up and then notice you have to pee.

Yep, every few hours, very annoying! And results in poor sleep.
