After a member shared concern about a dangerously high blood sugar level of 400, the community rallied with urgent encouragement to seek emergency care right away rather than waiting until the next day. Several members shared personal experiences with similarly high readings, noted the risk of diabetic ketoacidosis, and suggested calling a nurse line to keep their care team informed. The member later updated the group that they had spoken with their doctor, who adjusted their medication and gave guidance for future episodes, bringing the thread to a reassuring close.

I am okay. Spoke with the doctor. She made some adjustments with my medication. Said if it happens again take an additional pill.

Whoa, yes, please seek care. This is beyond doing all the obvious things at home. Every doctor's office has a nurse line, and insurance companies do, too. It might be wise to leave a message on such a line stating you are seeking care, so your team can stay in the loop appropriately.
