When my irritable bowel isn't causing severe diarrhea, for my constipation I use Equate Clearlax. You mix the Clearlax in with any drink. If it is more severe than I have a prescription for Symporic. I have tried all the script meds and Symporic is the mildest. The others seem to harsh for me.
