Just wondering if anyone has experience with using Tramadol or Tramacet for pain and if so what is your experience? Side Effects, etc? I find I experience insomnia at night, yet if I take it during the day I am drowsy. I has helped with the pain in my face quite a bit since I prescribed it last week. Thanks in advance.

. I use 100 MG tramadol twice a day with a Panado. Side effects dry mouth insomnia constipation but I am pain free. Using for 6 yrs now. Hard to wean urself off it because of the heavy withdrawal symptoms. But I don't want to be without it anyway
I take 2 pills twice a day. Usually in the morning and then around 7, it doesn't bother me at night but I do take Lunesta at bedtime. Tramdol usually just deadens the pain, but doesn't take it totally away. But I haven't had any side effects. I also take Gabpentin 300mg 3 x a day.
take 2 first thing in a morning helps me to start the day try not to tke them after 4pm can keep me awake x
Tramadol did nothing for me. I would use it at night it helped a tick. I now take Norco.
Thank you everyone. Just this past weekend I woke up extremely dizzy, wondering if it is the Tramadol or if combination because I took a Benedryl to try and sleep due to insomnia (from Tramadol). I have been afraid to take it the past two days and now my neck is aching again and the facial stuff feels to be returning...ugh..back to the Doctor I go. Is anyone else sick of having to go to the Dr. numerous times and trying all these different medications??? I'm sure the answer is yes, sorry I am just so frustrated and sad. :(
