Members responded with overwhelming agreement to the question of whether fibromyalgia and CFS can feel like having the flu or a fever, with nearly everyone confirming this is a common experience. Several members noted that symptoms tend to get worse after overdoing it on a good day, describing a frustrating cycle of feeling slightly better, pushing too hard, and then really paying for it. A recurring theme was the comfort of not feeling alone in this experience, with many offering encouragement and well wishes to each other.

I do too, seems like when I feel like I have a little more energy, I do too much and really pay for it later. Very frustrating.

Yes, I get it all the time but especially if I do too much too, just seems like my pain etc is in overdrive, not fun at all, glad I'm not the only one and you all understand what I am going through.

Hope you all feel better soon.
