Members strongly validated the experience of waking up drenched in sweat and needing to change clothes or bedding, with many sharing that fibromyalgia has disrupted their ability to regulate body temperature altogether. Several members described coping strategies including sleeping with fans or air conditioning, taking cool showers to bring relief, and managing the frustration of alternating between extreme heat and cold. A recurring theme was the social and emotional toll of these symptoms, from the embarrassment of visible sweating to the challenge of balancing personal comfort with a partner's needs.

Yes, I having hot flashes too, especially at night so have been sleeping with a fan on or lately our air conditioning because the temperature here in SE Michigan has been in the low 90's with the heat index at around 100, Very frustrating. Sometimes I end up taking cool showers just to cool off. Hope you feel better soon.
